Learning Through Play
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Our Little Kinder's down in the two-year room have been creating a spring display, we have enjoyed learning about how caterpillars turn into butterflies and introduced the children to the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
World Book Day 2021
World Book Day is one of our favourite days, sharing a book with a child is magical and promotes communication and Literacy skills. We love to bring books alive with costumes, props and puppets not just on one day, but everyday.
Physical Development (Moving and Handling)
Moving and Handling is so much more then running, and jumping. Our children develop their physical skills in everyday play from playdough to pouring a cup of tea in the kitchen. Fine motor skills promote good hand and finger muscles which helps children when it comes to writing as they start school. Our gross motor skills is when we use the big muscles for example running and jumping. At nursery we love to play and develop these skills.
Pre-School's Space Theme

Maths was the main focus with our space theme and children used lots of numbers, shapes and problem solving, it was so much fun!
